Why is it so incredibly difficult to find one of these that either doesn’t have a bunch of decorations on it, or is made of wire? I want a nice plain wood one for the kitchen wall in our new place. Could it be because no one knows what to call it? I’ve searched under letter organizer, hanging letter sorter, wall mail holder, key holder, etc. and the closest thing I’ve been able to find is one from LL Bean for $70 which I refuse to pay.
If you have any suggestions, I’m all ears. I can’t find any at the store and I’ve looked at Home Depot, The Great Indoors, Walmart, and Office Depot. Online I’ve checked Target, Office Max, Staples, and even Ebay. Am I the only one who thinks these things are super neat? Am I an organizational freak?

Do you have any Ross Dress for Less, TJ Maxx or Marshalls stores near you? You may be able to find something in the Housewares department at any of those stores.

Try Michaels or Hobby Lobby. That’s were I got mine. Look in the finish it yourself wood section. Then you can stain or paint it the way you want.
Have you tried stores like Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, etc? They always have a bit of everything, and if you look online they might have something.
