Last night we watched Dave Chappelle: For What It’s Worth on Showtime. I had been looking forward to it for awhile now, so I was surprised that I failed to laugh at most of what Dave had to say. Joe actually fell asleep fifteen minutes into the one-hour program. I continued to watch it in the hopes it would get better. In fact, the entire time I kept thinking “as soon as he’s done with this topic, he’ll go onto something even funnier” but he never did. I especially disliked how long he talked about a homeless guy who was whacking off holding him and a bus full of people hostage. That’s the best he could do? What a disappointment.
