Yoshi’s Island DS

I’m not great at reviews but I have to say this game kicks ass! My brother bought it for me for Christmas, and while I can vaguely recall him playing a Yoshi game when we were much younger, I don’t think I ever played it before. That’s probably why I didn’t even open the game and try it until a few days ago.

I’m not a hardcore gamer by any means, although you couldn’t tell from all the DS games I own, so what I like most about this game is that it’s not hard. It’s so vibrant and colorful and it takes full advantage of the both screens giving each world a feeling of space. Since there’s no timer you can explore each world in detail and find all the hidden items. It’s just super cute and fun to play. Definitely my favorite game so far. It even trumps Kirby Squeak Squad!
