Aha! I knew that the Mac OS wasn’t without problems. From the way you hear Mac enthusiasts gush about their machines, you’d think Apple was God and Microsoft was the devil. Well eat that you stuck up Mac users! *
* Calm down, I’m just having some fun poking fun at you two. Haha. Get it? You two? As in only two of my readers use Macs. Oh man, sometimes I crack myself up!
To be honest I’d still rather be using my Mac then any windows machine. I was quite pissed when that happened and still, but I back everything up like a good computer user and nothing to critical was lost. The real problem is that Microsoft has created a standard of poor quality releases. In order for Apple to compete they are also forced to release their products early. I guess as one person commented on my post that the release is really the ultimate beta test and you just have to wait to upgrade. You live and learn right.
i knew there was a reason I never turned on FileVault…. Apple has patched the problem (well, so they say)
I’ve used windows 95, windows 98 SE, mandrake linux 9.1, and windows xp professional. In my opinion, they did a great job with windows xp. I’m using it on a pentium II 266Mhz, 176 Mb ram, and it works great. I bought it for only $10 at school so I guess I wouldn’t have much to complain about if it did suck.
Ahem. Make fun all you want, but he’s referring to Panther, which has been out for what? About a week now? LOL Can you say barely out of BETA?
The hubby likes to try new things out as soon as they’re released (and he gets them for free from Apple because he’s a consultant), but I won’t touch anything until they work all the bugs out.
