My nice boss let all of us go home an hour and a half early today. I was totally not expecting that, especially on a Monday, but I certainly appreciate it. Joe got off early too, so we did some grocery shopping and had dinner in the oven before our usual getting home time. Right now I’m eating stuffing for dinner. Yea, just stuffing. It was one of those dinners that you just add chicken to, but the chicken we bought today is seriously screwed up. Not sure why, but even though it’s cooked, it’s all chewy. Ick. We’re better off getting those frozen chicken breasts than buying them fresh. I have a feeling I’ll be having a bowl of cereal later on too. And we have a LOT of cereal in this place. We bought four more boxes tonight, in fact. We are cereal freaks. I never used to be a cereal eater; it’s all Joe’s fault.
I probably mentioned it before, but I have a hard time sleeping on Sunday nights. I still haven’t figured out why. I don’t think it has to do with work. Sure, I don’t like working, but how many of you out there do? I’m sure most of you would rather stay home, or at least do something other than what you do. That being said, my job isn’t hard, my team is cool, and lately the hours are flying because I’m learning some new stuff. So I don’t think it’s stress related, but I don’t know what it is. Hopefully I won’t have the same problem tonight. Nothing sucks more than waking up four times in the middle of the night. Ugh.

Do you sleep in on Sundays? That’s my guess. I used to sleep in on the weekends, and would never fall asleep on Sunday nights until late as a result. (God, I sometimes long for those days!)
That thought crossed my mind, but actually we tend to get just about the same sleep on the weekends because we’re so busy.
I have trouble sleeping on Sundays too. I think it’s because although I *do* stay home (and love it), I dread Mondays because I miss George. Partly for mushy reasons and partly for having baby help. :)
