Tank tops

Have I ever mentioned my obsession with tank tops? If you knew me in person, you might not even know about it because I usually wear them either underneath a shirt, or to bed. I guess it’s like wearing an undershirt.

The thing is, I can’t wear a shirt without a tank top underneath it, and the tank top has to match what I’m wearing over it, even though you can’t see it. Is that weird? And I hate white (although I do have two white tank tops that I wear for Joe since he thinks they are sexy), so I own different colored tank tops. I just bought two more (which I may actually wear by themselves, since the bright green one has little rhinestones around the collar and my favorite color lately is powder blue), putting my collection far beyond what is probably normal. I wouldn’t be surprised if I have more tank tops than regular shirts.

In the clingy, mostly wear as an undershirt category, I have:

1 maroon
1 dark green
1 bright green
1 dark blue
1 powder blue
3 black
3 dark grey

In the wear outside by themselves only category, I have:

1 turquoise
1 turquoise, blue, green and white striped
2 navy blue
1 black
1 sage

That’s eighteen tank tops (if you count those two white ones), and that’s still not counting all the tank tops I no longer fit into (of which there would be approximately 7-8 more).

I’m not addicted; I can stop at any time. Well, maybe after I get a few more. ;)

  1. I’ll stop short of calling that “weird” or “excessive” and I’ll just say … that’s a LOT of tank tops. I had no idea you had this obsession or that it involved so much color coordination. I’m with Joe, though, I think white tank tops make women look sexy.
