You know, I have really had it up to here with Sony products, especially my VCR. God forbid I expect it to work properly. Gah! I recorded three hours of The Fairly Odd Parents the other day. I had to use EP as the setting, but made sure to use a brand new tape. It’s a Sony tape, no less. I tried playing it in the Emerson VCR and every once in awhile the picture would start jumping. So I figured it didn’t like the Sony-recorded tape, since it seems like you can’t watch anything that damn VCR records in any other brand VCR. So I put it back in the Sony one, and it’s even worse. How annoying! The VCR has worked like this since day one, and so did my brother’s (same model). Piece of crap. I recall the days when you could record on EP on a tape used 20 times without any problems. It seems like they are making VCRs shittier instead of better. I don’t even record often, like a few times a year, and this is the crap I get? I can’t wait to get a digital recorder, or something like a T*ivo where my viewing habits aren’t used for market research yet *I’m* required to pay a membership fee.
