Stolen Meme

Stolen from Jodi.

What curse words do you use most?
The F-word.

Do you own an iPod?
Nope, and I probably never will.

What time is your alarm clock set to?
5:10 am. Yes, it’s horrible!

Would you rather take the picture or be in the picture?
Without a doubt, take the picture.

What was the last movie you watched?
School for Scoundrels

What cd is currently in your player?
Don’t you mean CDs? I have a six CD changer in the car, and in it: Puppy by Fluke, Panic At The Disco!, 2-CD set from Junkie XL, All The Right Reasons by Nickelback, and a Pelican album. But I just brought the changer inside today to switch out the cds so I’m not sure what I will be listening to. Probably Underworld and The Cure. :)

Do you prefer regular or chocolate milk?
I like them both. And I like skim milk.

Has anyone told you a secret this week?
Yes they have, but I can’t tell you.

When was the last time you had Starbucks?
Probably a couple of weeks ago when I had a sip of Joe’s coffee. There’s a Starbucks in the Super Target and we shop there all the time, so on weekends he often gets coffee.

Can you whistle?
Yes, but not very well.

What are you looking forward to?
If I told you, I’d have to kill you. Sign up for access to the private entries and you’ll figure it out.

Did you watch cartoons when you were little?
Who didn’t? I hated Scooby Doo and The Jetsons (sorry Jodi!), but I loved Tom and Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, and Bugs Bunny. And I still watch cartoons – Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Home Movies are two of my faves.

Do you own any band t-shirts?
Yes, I have like 10 Cure t-shirts. That’s it.

What will you be doing in an hour?
Eating dinner and watching a show from the DVR.

What was the last song you heard?
Rockstar by Nickelback.

Last time you cried?
This weekend. Again, see private entries.

Desktop or laptop?
Desktop. I can’t stand those track pads on laptops.

Desiring any new ink?
I don’t have any tattoos and probably never will. If I did, I’d get something on the small of my back. Either a yin-yang or Cure written out ala Wish-style. But I probably won’t because I’m a wuss when it comes to pain. Besides, I think tattoos are sexy on men and not very attractive on women. Yes, that’s a double standard but so be it.

What’s the weather like?
Getting warmer. I can’t wait until Spring!

What were you doing an hour ago?
Driving home from work.

How many hours of sleep do you need to function?
I typically get 6-7 hours a night. Anything less than 6 and I feel like dying. On the weekends I like to get 8.

Do you eat breakfast daily?
Usually. But it’s something easy to eat at my desk like a granola bar or instant oatmeal.

What did you do last night?
Made dinner, watched American Idol. Nothing extra exciting.

Do you use sarcasm?
Never. Why would you even think that?

Do you like mustard?
It’s ok, but it has its place, like on hot dogs mostly.

Do you sleep on your side/back/stomach?
Mostly on my left side because that keeps the acid reflux down. Sometimes on my back. Never on my stomach.

Do you watch the news?
Not often. I see stuff online but I avoid that sometimes too. Ignorance is bliss I’ve been told.

How did you get one of your scars?
I have one on my knee from when I was a teenager and I jumped into a chair we had in the basement and there was a nail sticking out of it. I also have one on my thumb from the chicken pox. I guess I scratched.

Idol Blah

Now that the auditions are over at American Idol, I am losing interest in the show. Aren’t those freaks the best? So many delusional people, so little time! I think they show more bad singers than good during the auditions and that’s just fine by me. Everyone talks about how mean the judges are (read: Simon), but I love every minute of it. I LOVE Simon. All he’s doing is putting those people in their place and trying to prevent them from wasting their time. I have to say this to all the parents out there encouraging their kids who can’t hold a tune: You are giving your child false hope. You think you’re being supportive but in actuality you’re being cruel. But please keep it up because I just loooove making fun of your son/daughter. Sometimes it’s the highlight of my week!

Ahem.

I’m not overly excited about the top 24 this year. Last night was two hours of the top 12 guys. Thanks to my wonderful DVR, whom I shall marry one day if Joe ever leaves me, I watched the show in 20 minutes. The only two guys worth pressing play for were Blake Lewis and Chris Sligh (Chris Richardson is cute but boring). Blake took me by surprise last night because I don’t think I heard anything but beat-box from him up until that point, plus he’s definitely the cutest guy in the top 12. As for Chris, I just like him because he has an interesting personality and seems like a really nice person. I hope they both go far.

At one point one of the contestants got on and started singing about something, I really can’t remember what song or who it was now, but there was a reference in the song about being boring and I told Joe that Simon would totally pick that line to rip the guy a new one and he sure did. I could not stop laughing. Oh Simon, you are the best!

The top 12 girls are on tonight. I really hate Antonella. You may remember her as one half of the best friend duo. She seems full of herself while trying to put on an act like she cares. It was awful how her and her best friend screwed over Bailey when rehearsing for the group singing during Hollywood week. Bitches. I am glad Antonella’s b/f didn’t get through after she spent so much time flirting. Plus she denied it as if there wasn’t footage to prove her a liar. What a tool. To take what could be your one shot and to blow it by goofing off? When will those people ever learn? Well, she got what she deserved, didn’t she? Hopefully someone in the girls will stand out. So far I like Gina and Jordin.

The Sarah Silverman Program

I don’t know what possessed me to watch the new Comedy Central program, The Sarah Silverman Program. Perhaps it was all the positive reviews it’s been getting. Honestly, I cannot stand Sarah Silverman as a comedian. I think she does things merely for shock value and her jokes aren’t funny at all; however, so far her show is. Even though she has a rather annoying high-pitched voice, it works for her “character”. You almost think her narcissism is cute. Interestingly enough, the actress who plays her sister in the show is her real life sister. So weird. But so funny. You should check it out.

24: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Finally, a kick-ass episode (actually two) of 24! Jack got some kills in and we saw a lot of exciting action. I’m really stumped as to why Morris created a device that actually worked, however. Was there no way for him to fake it and just make them think it armed the nuke? That part just seemed weird, similar to how he was able to work after having a hole put into his shoulder with that power drill. I’m surprised, but happy, he wasn’t killed.

When Jack burst in with that shotgun in the nick of time, hot damn, was that exciting! *Swoon* Notice how his hand was shaking when he was disarming the nuke? Some people are speculating that it was because he was scared but I think it had more to do with whatever screwed up his hand when he was in prison. Notice the skin looks strange on that hand like it was burned with acid.

Man, is Jack’s dad one evil son of a bitch or what? Poor Jack. And then dumbass Marilyn not warning Jack about what was going on and almost getting him killed. Nice one, bitch. Like she couldn’t have yelled when she kept getting interrupted? What did she think was going to happen? He’d go into the house and it would be empty or he’d interrupt a friendly game of Chutes and Ladders? Come on! She should have known better even if she was never involved in something like that before. Doesn’t she watch tv?

I’m just glad Phillip admitted to Marilyn that he killed Graem because that means Jack will find out eventually that he wasn’t responsible for his death. I found it odd how quickly that autopsy was done though. Also, could they not tell Graem had more of that drug in his body than Jack had ordered administered? Or do they not look for things like that? You’d think in that line of work they’d never make assumptions because things are often not what they seem.

Oh and I found it funny how Marilyn didn’t really give a damn that Graem was dead. It was like, “Oh good, I wanted to leave him anyway so thanks”. LOL!
